What’s my definition of love?

Love is a compromise. It’s the result when two people fall for each other in a way words can’t describe. Love is falling asleep in each other’s arms, synchronizing breaths with heartbeats. It’s letting her win at Mario Kart when you clearly could have red-turtled her and won. Love is when she pays for your Starbucks because you paid last time. It’s constantly laughing, texting, communicating. Love is an adventure; it has its uphills and downhills, deserts and oases. It’s being there for someone through the best of times, but especially the worst of times. It’s forgiveness, caring, consideration. Love is waking up early on your anniversary to surprise her with flowers and breakfast. It’s travelling hundreds of miles to see that one person that gives you butterflies every time you two kiss. It’s being able to envision a future with children and happiness. Love is an emotion, a strong one at that. It has the ability to change your life for the better, or show you lessons you couldn’t have learned from a textbook. Love is an experience. It can be painful, but it’s worth it.
Merriam-Webster got nothing on this.
